WOW. Just played the River Side in fall and man is it just absolutely gorgeous here. A challenging course if you’re not up on your golf game. These guys take pride in keeping the grounds clean and stunning. Can’t wait to play again. One of the prettiest golf courses I’ve played at. What a treat to play here!
We had an amazing experience from the second we arrived to that sad, sad day we left.
The Grove Bungalow was fabulous, comfortable and clean. Both the Lakes and River courses were immaculate, and we also enjoyed our round at South River. The wildlife throughout was breathtaking!
Shep, Lynn and Gary were just the nicest, very attentive and welcoming. The people in the pro shop and the tavern were so friendly and efficient. Everything from start to finish was just easy.

Our group of 15 played the Lakes Course, and it was in fantastic shape. Everyone had a great time and the staff was great to deal with from their Group Coordinator Ron to the Snack Shack lady Linda! A great course to play again and again. We will be back!
We stayed in one of the bungalows located on the course. We rented a one bedroom and the bed is comfy and the room/bathroom are brand new and clean. The outdoor area is great with plenty of seating, a grill and a firepit all by the 1st green of the River course. We played the Lakes course and enjoyed it - so pretty and just challenging enough. There is a little tavern in the pro shop that serves yummy sandwiches. We will do this again!
The River course is absolutely gorgeous and a blast to play! Greens are a challenge but the views and peaceful feeling of the course serve as an amazing distraction to the challenging layout.
We had a beautiful Fall outing at Queenstown Harbor, Lakes Course, yesterday and worked with Ron Rutter, Group Play Coordinator. Ron was very responsive to all our needs. His communications were very timely and he provided us with great suggestions, arranged our requested tee times, had names put on carts, and provided markers for closest to the pin and longest drive. Other staff at the course were also very helpful and friendly. We are a ladies golf group and play at Queenstown at least monthly. This was our first +1/member guest event and plan to make this an annual event. Thank you for all your assistance, Ron!
Excellent course. We played mid-week in late August and course was in great condition (even with aeration just occurring). We consider ourselves novice golfers and found the course perfect…slightly challenging, but forgiving. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Kent Island. As a bonus, the staff is welcoming and super helpful (not always the case with out of town visitors).
This place is spectacular. You will not be disappointed and the staff goes out of their way to ensure you and your buddies have a great time. I booked five tee times for 20 guys. They had carts lined up when we arrived, and rental sets in the carts that we requested. Private courses could take a page from their book on how to treat guests.
